Musicals Reimagined By Hayes

From Australia’s most dynamic small theatre, five extraordinary performers rework a selection of classic musicals in Rewired: Musicals Reimagined by Hayes.

Toby Francis, Emily Havea, Trevor Ashley, Olivia Vasquez and Ryan Gonzalez, present fresh takes on Oliver!, Les Miserables and other musical favourites in a show directed by Richard Carroll and hosted by Virginia Gay.

Hayes has enjoyed widespread critical praise in the seven years since its production of Sweet Charity introduced a vibrant new performing arts company to the Australian cultural landscape. This new production marks the company’s widely anticipated return to the stage after the pandemic forced its doors to close for several months.

This concert debuted for a season at the 2021 Sydney Festival, and was revived for a special outdoor concert version at Sydney Festival’s Sunset Piazza in March that year.
